Father's Day in Morrison

We spent Father's day in Morrison, Colorado.

This was really special for my husband because this is where he grew up. Not only did he get to spend the day with his Son he also got to spend it with his Dad and Brother.

This is Matt's Grandfather's house that is dad now lives in. So Ozzie was also there in spirit!

Matt, Papa and Uncle Pete enjoyed showing Sawyer some of their favorite spots.

We hiked to the elementary school that all three of them attended.

Where we found the playground with the BEST VIEW EVER!

Then we hiked along one of their favorite trails.

And enjoyed being surrounded by nature.

It was nice to have three generations of boys together on Father's Day.

We hiked all the way to the top of the hill.

That is where the Morrison Cemetery is.

Back at the school I noticed this sign. I thought it was cute.

After all that hiking we were in need of something refreshing. So we stopped here.
and got an Ice cream.
When Sawyer received his ice cream he started singing "Happy Birthday to me".
All the other customers were smiling and wishing him Happy Birthday. Until I informed them that it really wasn't his birthday. He just likes to sing that song when we have Ice cream.:)

After Ice cream we stopped and said hello to the Dinosaurs around town.
It was a really special Father's Day.
