My Little Shark

We hit a MAJOR MILESTONE
in the world of Sawyer Bean today!
For weeks he has been working to swim like a 'Big Boy' and today, after a lot of practice and much determination, he did it!

HE LEARNED TO SWIM UNDERWATER!!!!
ALONE no floaties or parents!
(well no parents hanging on anyway, his dad was really close.)

For the very first time!
Alone underwater swimming!!!
HE'S TWO!

I am so impressed I told him
" Sawyer, you're my little fish!"

He said to me
" No mom, I'm a shark, not a fish, I'm a shark"
"OH A SHARK!"
I should have known! What was I thinking, fish!?!

Want to see him do it again?

O.K.

Yep, he's a natural!

My little shark.

Amazing!

Sometimes sharks have to take a break.

and after all that swimming, even sharks enjoy a little sun!

It was nice knowing you, Angel fish!

Oh my God! I am totally impressed. Poor Finn. He tired lessons when he was, like, one and was totally freaked! He likes the water now but he doesn't get much practice. We never go to pools. Bravo, Sawyer! How exciting!
